Standards - Extra facets

Every cut of diamond has an optimum number of facets. Sometimes the diamond cutter will add additional facets simply to remove or hide a defect. They are usually located on the pavillion directly under the girdle. Sometimes less is more.

We categorically reject diamonds with the following:
