This rakish looking gentlemen lighting up his cigarette whilst checking the time from the light of his match, featured on the front cover of Prestons watch brochure from 1937.
The brochure tells you that your watch does more than tell you the time, it conveys to others your sense of refinement, of what is befitting to your station in life. This still holds true today.
The brochure illustrates the Prestex range of wristwatches which were exclusive to Prestons of Bolton and available in a wide range of styles.
