The History Of Prestons of Bolton
The invitation for the opening of Prestons new store at
number 2 Deansgate coincided with the visit to Bolton by his Majesty King George V.
The invitation cleverly linked both events and also unfolded to reveal the royal likeness of King George V, King Edward VII and Queen Victoria.
Soon afterwards, Prestons closed their Bank St store.
